Hara Museum ARC

During a designated period of time, Hara Museum ARC is offering teachers and administrators at educational institutions free admission to the museum. We urge teachers who are considering the museum for field trips, off-campus learning and other school events to apply.

Period

July 20 (Monday, a national holiday) to July 26 (Sunday), 2026 *This six-day period excludes July 23 (Thursday) when the museum is normally closed.
Opening hours 9:30 am – 4:30 pm (last entry 4:00 pm).

Target

Teachers and administrative staff at educational institutions, including kindergartens, nursery schools, elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools, universities, vocational schools and other public and private schools inside and outside Gunma prefecture.

How to apply

* An application must be submitted in advance by email, along with your reason for participating. Only those who have received reservations will be allowed to participate.
* Free admission is provided only to those who have applied.
* This is a self-guided tour. Those who want a guided tour by a staff member should request this in advance.
* If you wish to visit outside the July 20–26 period, please contact us separately.

Please apply in advance by sending an email to event@haramuseum.or.jp with “Application for Free Visit by School Teachers” on the subject line and the following items in the body of the email:
1. Name
2. Name of school and subject taught or administrative position
3. Phone number where you can be contacted on the day of your visit
4. Desired date and time of visit
5. Specific interest (e.g., interest in planning a field trip to the museum, desire for a guided tour of the museum, interest in holding a workshop, desire to learn about the museum architecture, etc.)
