Hara Museum ARC

You are invited to join a bus tour to view two exhibitions featuring the work of Cy Twombly: Cy Twombly – Fifty Years of Works on Paper at the Hara Museum in Shinagawa, Tokyo and Line and Space: Cy Twombly and East Asia at Hara Museum ARC in Gunma. The tour will start from Shinagawa. Participants will first view the show at the Hara Museum before being taken by bus to the Hara Museum ARC annex in Gunma where they will enjoy Cy Twombly at Kankai Pavilion. Also on view will be an exhibit at the Contemporary Art Galleries titled Homage – Selections from the Hara Museum Collection and Hiroshi Fuji – From the Useless Selection. Participants will be free to join a guided tour, wander around on their own, and enjoy the adjacent Ikaho Green Bokujo and its many attractions as well.

Fee: Hara Museum members (and up to two guests) ¥ 5,500 / General ¥ 6,500
* Includes bus fare, insurance, and admission to Hara Museum of Contemporary Art, Hara Museum ARC and Ikaho Green Bokujo. * Fee should be paid on the day of the bus tour.

Meeting Place and Time: Hara Museum of Contemporary Art, between 8:30 and 9:20
* If you choose not to view the Hara Museum exhibition, you may come directly to the bus by 9:20 am.
Location of bus stop: Near the “Gotenyama” traffic signal on Yatsuyama Dori.
