Short Films by Miranda July

Miranda July is a filmmaker, performance artist, recording artist and writer. Her work includes the prize-winning novel No One Belongs Here More than You: Stories and The Corridor, an installation that caused a sensation when it appeared at the Yokohama Triennale in 2008. Her new feature film The Future opens at Theater Image Forum in Shibuya in January, 2013. This event introduces a number of short films by the artist that have garnered attention at film festivals around the world.
A post-screening talk will be given by Sachiko Kishimoto (translator of the novel by Miranda July No One Belongs Here More Than You: Stories).
